Twylla Alexander

Twylla Alexander stepped into her first labyrinth in 2004, unaware that labyrinths would lead her on a life-changing journey almost ten years later.

Traveling isn’t new to her, having lived with her husband and three children in Arkansas, Alaska, Singapore, Cairo, Moscow, New York City and Portland, Maine. But a two-year journey to visit labyrinths and their creators, in all fifty states, was a personal pilgrimage.

Following retirement as a speech-language pathologist and elementary school teacher, Twylla has focused on  writing, exploring labyrinths and following connections to both, wherever they may lead her.

As a Veriditas-certified Labyrinth Facilitator, Twylla  makes presentations about labyrinths, facilitates labyrinth walks and conducts retreats, providing the space and time for women to explore their own journeys on the labyrinth and beyond.
